Well I don't own a vintage one (yet), but here's an original & unmolested R121 I can only dream about on a daily basis. Courtesy of a local MB collector & now a friend:

As I mentioned before, one of my dream vintage MBs is a 190SL but is out of my price range... so I think this W111 coupe is a nice tradeoff.

That dash is a work of art. The wheels are amazing. The color is the shade of my envy.

Almost bought this "72 250C last year, had the guy down to $1000 but got scared and walked away.

I love those old pillarless coupes. I need to get a convertible next. If money weren't an issue, I'd find something like the SL in the first post of this thread. I owned a 1977 MGB because I thought it looked like a poor man's version of those SLs.
